Built in 1928 as Boston's first skyscraper, the Hilton Boston is the ideal blend of old and new. Full renovation brought new luster to our 1920s art Deco decor of warm brick, rich woods and brass - and added a host of modern comforts and conveniences. There's much to see in the surrounding neighborhood. Stroll along the cobblestone streets and discover charming attractions like Quincy Market, Post Office Square and the fabled Financial Districts. The New England Aquarium is also a must-see attraction families will love. You'll also find plenty of shops and historical buildings to explore. Hilton Boston Financial District will be undergoing it’s next phase of our building’s exterior brick reinforcement project in the coming days. This project will not have any interference with facilities within the hotel, all will remain open for our guests enjoyment during their stay.The hotel is working closely with the project team to attempt to perform the necessary repairs with the least interruptions to the comfort of our guests. Our front office team will have communication available for each guest upon arrival and will do it’s best to relocate guests to rooms away from the project section. The work section will be covered in mesh with scaffolding 14 floors high (height of building). There is two parts to this project – Part 1 (February – April) is drilling braces into the building floor by floor, this part will have some noise that will effect the guestrooms in this work section. Part 2 (April - August) the project team will be reinforcing any necessary bricks floor by floor, this part has minimal to no noise associated with the work.
